Check out our interview with Dr. Paul L. Williams, an American author, journalist, and consultant, and, for over a decade, has taught philosophy, religion, and the humanities as an adjunct professor at The University of Scranton and Wilkes University.

Dr. Williams came to international prominence in early June, 2006, as a result of his central involvement as an investigator the month prior into the suspicious activities of members of the faculty of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. These investigations, paired with investigations being conducted by Ontario police eventually led to the arrests of 17 terrorist suspects by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

He is the author of such best-selling books as The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World (2007), Dunces of Doomsday: 10 Blunders That Gave Rise to Radical Islam, Terrorist Regimes, And the Threat of an American Hiroshima (2006), The Al Qaeda Connection: International Terrorism, Organized Crime, And the Coming Apocalypse (2005), Osama's Revenge: THE NEXT 9/11 : What the Media and the Government Haven't Told You (2004), The Vatican Exposed: Money, Murder, and the Mafia (2003), Everything You Always Wanted to Know about the Catholic Church But Were Afraid to Ask for Fear of Excommunication (1990).

In addition, he has written several Idiot Guides, including The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Lives of the Saints (2002), and The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Crusades (2001) and a scholarly text The Moral Philosophy of Peter Abelard, which garnered a National Book Award. He has been the subject of a PBS documentary and the subject of programs on the Discovery and History channels. He is a frequent guest on such national news networks as Fox News, MSNBC, and NPR.
 
As a journalist, Dr. Williams served as the editor/publisher of The Metro, the largest weekly newspaper in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Metro, under his leadership/ownership, was named one of the best newspapers in the state for editorial content by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Publishers' Association, and, in 1993, he became the only journalist to capture three first-place Keystone Press Awards in three distinct categories in the same year. In addition, he has penned feature articles for National Review (one of which sparked the longest running print debate in the history of a major periodical) and has served as a regular correspondent on world affairs for World Net Daily.
 
For five years, Dr. Williams served as a senior consultant on organized crime and international terrorism for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. His field work resulted in the arrests and convictions of leading crime figures.
 
Dr. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wilkes University, a Master of Divinity degree from Drew University, and a a Ph.D. in philosophical theology from Drew University (1976). He has been the recipient of six major academic scholarships and a teaching fellowship from Lehigh University.
